Rental Information
BOOK NOWDAILY RENTAL FEES
Below is our daily rental fees which include the bike of your choice. Every rental includes Mickelson Trail daily pass ($4 value) a helmet, as well as a bike rack on the bike to hold bags, bungee cords if needed, and a bike lock.
3 Hours or Less
Electric Bike Rental- Any booking that is 3 hours or less. Ride one hour, two hours, or all three. Must be back by 4pm.
Over 3 hours
Electric Bike Rental- Any time over 3 hours in a regular booking day. Must be back by 4pm on the day of booking.

Trek Pedal Bike Rental- Any booking that is 3 hours or less. Ride one hour, two hours, or all three. Must be back by 4pm.
Over 3 Hours
Trek Pedal Bike Rental- Any time over 3 hours in a regular booking day. Must be back by 4pm on the day of booking.
Additional Insurance
Per Rental- Additional Insurance covers the occurrences of damage to helmets and other accessories/punctures / broken spokes / broken chains / broken derailleurs / Flat tires/ broken shifters / torn saddles / stripped threads on pedal crank. This does NOT cover any other damage not listed under the additional insurance categories, or that are outside the control of Black Hills Power Bikes LLC, nor does it cover loss, theft, other damage, or cost occurred by you. You will pay for any and all other damages or theft. If you DO NOT purchase additional insurance then you will be held responsible for the damages above and will have to pay for any of the damages above as well as any damaged occurred outside the control of Black Hills Power Bikes LLC.

20 INCH ADULT STEP THROUGH ELECTRIC POWER BIKE
Experience effortless riding with the SF20 Folding Electric Bike. The user-friendly half-twist throttle ensures easy operation, while the fat tires provide exceptional balance and suspension, delivering a smooth and comfortable ride. Plus, the convenient folding Step-Thru frame allows for easy mounting and dismounting, making every journey a breeze. When you’re not using it, the bike conveniently folds away for simple storage and portability. The SF20 step through bike features a 750 watt motor. The power bike has a range of distance depending completely on personal power usage, the rider’s weight, and the terrain of the path. The bike also features 4 inch fat tires that give better stability along trails and a more comfortable ride. It can be used with or without power assistance. The bike features a 7-speed gear configuration. The power assisted motor provides 5 different levels of assistance depending on rider’s preference. This allows for many options to assist the rider. The LCD display screen has a charge indicator, speedometer and pedal assist level. Additional features included for your convenience are fenders, front and brake lights, and a rear rack to carry gear.
20 INCH FOLDING ADULT ELECTRIC BIKE
Our 20 inch Folding Adult Electric Bike features a 750watt motor which provides a max speed of 22mph providing all the power needed for any terrain. This bike has an upright seating position with an adjustable seat giving more accessible frame height. This allows for the rider to completely customize the set up based on their personal needs without sacrificing features. The 20 inch adult model folds, allowing for riders to easily transport to other trailheads outside of the immediate area. This model has a range of distance depending completely on personal power usage, the rider’s weight, and the terrain of the path. The 20 inch bike also features 4 inch fat tires that give better stability along trails and a more comfortable ride. Our 20 inch Folding Kids Electric Bike features a 350watt motor which provides a max speed between 14-20mph. This bike has a recommended age of 10 years and older with bicycle experience. This bike has an adjustable seat and handlebars allowing each rider to customize to size. The 20 inch kids model folds, allowing for riders to easily transport to other trailheads outside of the immediate area. This model has a range of distance depending completely on personal power usage, the rider’s weight, and the terrain of the path. The 20 inch bike features 2.35 inch tires. It can be used with or without power assistance. The bike features a 7-speed gear configuration. The power assisted motor provides 5 different levels of assistance depending on rider’s preference. The LCD display screen has a charge indicator, speedometer and pedal assist level. Additional features included for your convenience are fenders, front and brake lights, and a rear rack to carry gear.
Trek Verve 1 Pedal Bikes
Verve 1 Disc Lowstep is an introductory hybrid bike designed for comfort and confidence on recreational rides. It has a lowstep frame that makes it easy to mount and dismount, disc brakes that provide stopping power in any weather, and wide tires for extra stability. This ride is dependable, and full of features that make for comfortable everyday adventures. A lightweight aluminum frame with mounts for a rack and fenders, a lowstep design that makes it especially easy to mount and dismount, 21 speeds to help you conquer varied terrain, ergonomic grips, a Bontrager padded saddle, wider 45c tires for added stability, powerful disc brakes, and a geometry that keeps you in a comfortable, upright riding posture. This bike features a rear rack to carry gear.

What To
…Expect
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Please bring your confirmation with you. When you arrive, you will be checked in, sign waivers if you haven’t already, we will get a copy of your ID, you will receive a helmet, then we will go over our policies and recommendations of where to ride.
…Wear
We recommend that all riders wear a helmet. We have helmets for each rider, each one comes with a skull cap if you would like, and that you get to keep. Please wear closed-toed shoes, and comfortable clothing. Be prepared for Black Hills weather and bring a jacket, or rain jacket as the weather can change very quickly.
…To Bring
We recommend that riders bring suncreen, bug repellent, water bottle, cell phone, identification, cash or card.
Our Policies
Refunds
We require 1 week notice if customer needs to cancel his/her reservation for a full refund or if reservation needs rescheduled, if reservation was booked 3 or more weeks in advance. No refunds will be given if customers reservation is canceled within 1 week of his/her booked time. This policy extends to any group bookings. We require 48 hours notice if customer needs to cancel his/her reservation for a full refund or if reservation needs rescheduled, if reservation was booked less 3 weeks of upcoming booking. We cannot guarantee the days and times we have available to reschedule. No refunds will be given if customers reservation is canceled within 48 hours of his/her booked time. We are unable to give refunds if customers do not show up to his/her reservation. If customers show up late to his/her booked time, that time will be counted as part of his/her time block, the return time will remain the same. We are unable to offer refunds for inclement weather, or any circumstance out of Black Hills Power Bikes LLC.’s control. Please come prepared for inclement weather and plan accordingly. If customers electric bike malfunctions due to mechanical problems, customers will be rescheduled or refunded. If customers electric bike malfunctions due to customer error, he/she will not be refunded and will be held responsible for any damages. All refunds are subject to a service fee of 5%. Any applicable refunds will be issued upon return of all rented equipment
Recommendations
We recommend that all riders are 10 years of age or older, and that riders have experience of riding a bicyle. We recommend all riders wear helmets. Please use the bick locks provided anytime you plan on leaving your rental bike. We recommend that riders be in good health with no major health problems including, but not limited to, heart problems, breathing issues, and pregnancy.
What to Avoid
Please avoid direct contact with any wildlife. Please do not pet the fluffy cows. We do not allow our bikes to be ridden anywhere in Custer State Park or Wind Cave Park due to safety issues, there is no shoulders on most of the roads, and large wildlife. Please do not ride on the sidewalks of towns, use crosswalks provided. Please avoid riding cross-country on unmarked paths as our electric bikes are not suited for extreme mountain biking, such as rock jumping, wheelies, jumping or other stunt riding.
